Healthy and Happy for 2010

Was your new years resolution to get into shape? Or do you want to tone up and keep fit in 2010? If the answer is yes, then why not try one of the activities that we have on offer?

Aikido class taking place

Each week we run a variety of exercise classes, including Pilates – a class to help strengthen your core muscles, Aerobics – cardio vascular exercise to improve fitness, Body Blitz (or Full Body Conditioning) which uses resistance exercises to help tone the body and Yummy Mummies - a class for mums and babies which uses gentle exercises to help new mums tone up.

We also have plenty to offer young people who are keen to get active. During school term time, we run children’s trampoline classes as well as a weekly Junior Football session.

Plus, we are home to The Campus Free Runners who train here every other Tuesday and practice this exciting sport in a safe, supervised environment.

Other clubs and organisations who train and meet here include Dance Your Own Dance Belly Dance Classes, Water babies, Splitz Gymnastics, Rising Star and Rising Sun Aikido as well as many many more.

And as part of North Somerset Council, we support Go4Life – the council scheme that encourages people of all ages to become more active.

So from Belly Dancing to Badminton, Tai Chi to Trampolining, we really do have something to offer people of all ages and abilities.
