Holiday fun at The Campus

We will have a variety of activities on offer during the school holidays.

Football Fun days will be running between 9am and 3pm each weekday from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 June and the Thursday session will feature a special ‘Power Cage’ which measures how hard the ball is kicked. The sessions will be taken by an FA qualified coach and are for children aged six to 12 years old. The cost is £8 per child per day, except the Thursday session which will cost £11 per child.

There will be Street dancing sessions on offer on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 June, from 9.30am to 2.30pm for children aged eight to 12 years old. The cost will be £10 per child.

On Wednesday 2 June, there will be a special storytelling event in The Campus library to mark National Family Week Story Time Day. Storyteller Michael Loader will be holding a free session between 10am and 11am for children aged four to 11 years old. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Plus Locking Castle and Locking Children’s Centre at The Campus will be running their Thursday morning ‘Stay and Play’ session on June 3 from 9am to 11pm. This drop in session provides the opportunity for parents and carers to learn together and have fun with their children aged nought to four years old. There is no need to book in advance and the cost is £1.50 per family for up to two children (any additional children are charged at 50p each).

Places are limited so all sessions for football, street dance and the story telling must be booked and paid for in advance, and parents/guardians must complete an activity consent form before a child can participate in the sessions.

To book onto any of the holiday activities or to find out more about them and our regular activity schedule, please contact us or view our holiday activities leaflet (pdf, 337kb).

I would like to say thank you to all the staff that make me and my friends welcome here!
