Children's Centre

The brand new Locking and Locking Castle Children's Centre is now open at the Campus

This new centre is one of 14 buildings which are located across North Somerset. Children’s Centres offer support for all pre school children and their families. The centres aim to improve outcomes and opportunities for all young children, in particular helping those children who are most disadvantaged.

They offer a variety of core services including:

• Family Support
• Links to child and family health
• Outreach & home visiting
• Information and access to wider services
• Links to local childcare, activities and support groups through the Family Information Service
• Childminder's network
• Parental involvement
• Drop in sessions for parents and children e.g. Stay & Play

Locking and Locking Castle Children’s Centre is home to a play room which can be split to form two separate rooms, a small meeting room, a kitchen and an office. Activities on offer include antenatal classes, health clinics and stay and play sessions.
